The nose is at first sight quite exciting and playful at the same time, fine herbal spiciness, notes of citrus. Rich flavour and full bodied with the spiciness of the peppermint, followed by sweet, pleasantly pungent characters, all in perfect harmony making it an elegant product. Pleasant finish with agreeable finish, memorable indeed.
The slowly opening nose shows the depth of the fruit with a hint of kernel character. Full body on the palate, the sweet, jammy personality dominates the flavour profile, suggesting plum dumpling like note and some spiciness. Long finish with additional marzipan and cinnamon tones.
Truly seductive aromas, fresh fruit and perfume appear on the nose in complete harmony. The flavours recall fruit and sweet kernel oiliness, accompanied by some strawberry jam. Well-rounded and truly memorable pálinka with piquant finish.
Slightly red pepper like notes appear on the nose, followed by green, grapey tones and some sweetness. Soft, shy and mild on the palate, suggesting the sweet-sour character of the sour cherry. A hint of marzipan and kernel character pop up in the back. Rather reserved on the finish.
Rather a vinous character, which makes it unique. The scent recalls the varietal personality, lively indeed. Floral, youthful and charming aromas. Crisp on the palate as well and sharing the notes from the scent. Quite a mouthfeel, accompanied by pleasant kernel oiliness, fresh and brisk fruitiness on the finish. Truly memorable pálinka.
The apple’s citrus, waxy notes are in complete harmony with the barrel given vanilla, spiciness creating a honey, floral, ethereal unity. The scent suggests strength yet it can still remain soft, light. The tart, long lingering tobacco leaf character is discretely over writing the apple.
