Straw yellow colour. The pronounced nose shows waxy character and sweet apple, underlined by some spiciness. Fruit-driven style, accompanied by vanilla, slightly tart, sour apple aroma and pleasant oaky tone. Long finish with a touch of elegant grapefruit on the end.

The spiciness of the apple is followed by the waxiness of the fruit and enhanced by the woody character of the barrel, such as vanilla. Due to the ageing there is some tannic grip as well which adds to the elegance. The flavour profile suggest apple and spiciness in combination with some wood aromas coming from the barrel. The dry tasting note shows also complete balance, truly a harmonious product.

The apple’s citrus, waxy notes are in complete harmony with the barrel given vanilla, spiciness creating a honey, floral, ethereal unity. The scent suggests strength yet it can still remain soft, light. The tart, long lingering tobacco leaf character is discretely over writing the apple.

The tempting colours suggest aging, the nose points to vanilla and cinnamon, followed by fruitiness. The palate recalls the tartness and the piquant waxiness of the fruit in combination with oaky tones from the aging, which together result in a fine body. The barrel smooths out the high alcohol as well, creating an elegant, masculine pálinka.

Harmonious and neat assemblage, marriage. Where the waxiness of the apple compliments the citrus tones of the quince on the nose as well as on the palate. Clean, bright and easy to consume.

Pronounced piquant and naughty note on the nose with fine, lively spiciness followed by some forest fruit and blueberry. Spicy on the palate with pepper and capsicum of the skin yet the tartness is highlighted by the colourful wild apple as well. Well composed product.

The colour is also a merit, showing green-brown-yellow hues. On the nose it shares the aroma of a lovely apple orchard full of perfume, waxy notes underlined by some spiciness, very attractive indeed. Tartness of the apple with some piquant waxiness come through on the palate, the bed is slightly dominating, buffer with the sweetness. Overall it looks just fine, it makes it an easy drinking product.
